Hey my friend welcome to the latest edition of my newsletter, thanks for being here! If this blesses you, share it with someone who needs it. They can sign up free at thelowkeychristian.com/newsletter. God bless you, now let's get into it.
This week's theme: Consistency.
It's Sunday. We've spent all week talking about showing up. Today we stop talking and just rest.
A PSALM FOR THE WEARY
No teaching today. No framework. No action steps. Just words from God to you. Read them slowly. Let them do the work.
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains,
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip,
He who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, He who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you,
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm,
He will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore." - Psalm 121
Read it once more. Even slower.
This psalm was written for travellers. For people on a journey. People who were tired, footsore, and wondering if they'd make it to where they were going.
That might be you today. You've spent a whole week thinking about consistency, faithfulness, discipline, showing up. And maybe right now you're tired. Maybe the idea of doing it all again tomorrow feels heavy.
So hear this: He who watches over you will not slumber nor sleep.
While you rest today, God doesn't. He's watching over your coming and going. He's keeping your foot from slipping. He's shading you from the heat.
You've shown up all week. You've read your verses. You've prayed your prayers. You've done the small, faithful, unglamorous work.
Today, let Him watch over you while you do nothing. That's not laziness. That's trust.
This week you learned that consistency isn't about perfection. It's about presence. It's about showing up on the hard days. It's about the Next Day Rule. It's about discipline over motivation. It's about picking up grain in the field like Ruth and trusting that God is weaving it into something bigger.
You did that this week. Even reading this email is proof of it.
Be proud of yourself. God is.
A RECOMMENDATION FOR THE WOMEN READING THIS
I want to share again with you today that a friend of mine has just launched a brand called Kingdom First.
She's created a beautiful 30-day morning eBook devotional called The Morning Rhythm. It's designed specifically for women who want to meet God before the day starts pulling at them. Four weeks of scripture, reflection, and quiet recalibration, anchored on Matthew 6:33.
The four weeks cover: coming back to Him after drifting, navigating the noise of modern life, discovering your identity in Christ, and finding God in the everyday ordinary. It's 44 pages, full colour, beautifully designed, and written like a friend talking, not a sermon being preached.
If that sounds like something for you or a woman in your life, you can grab it here with a discount using my link: The Morning Rhythm — A 30-Day Devotional | Kingdom First
And please go follow her and show some love:

Kingdom First. Life Second. I love what she's building.
YOUR ONE THING FOR TODAY
Nothing. Seriously. Rest. Read Psalm 121 one more time before bed tonight. Let it be the last thing you absorb today. Tomorrow a new week starts. But today, you rest.
Lord, thank You for watching over me this week. Thank You for not slumbering when I was tired. Thank You for keeping my foot from slipping on the days when I almost didn't show up. Today I rest in You. Not because I've earned it. Because You told me to. Watch over my coming and going. Now and forevermore. Amen.
